摘要: The last decade has seen an unprecedented development in imaging technologies that are able to non invasively characterize cardiovascular conditions. At the forefront of these modalities have been magnetic resonance (CMR) and multidetector computed tomography angiography (MDCTA). Linked advances software hardware, current CMR scanners provide a comprehensive evaluation cardiac patient with range information on anatomy, function, perfusion, viability, tissue characterization, flow patterns, as well coronary vascular angiography. MDCTA is accurate characterization luminal stenosis plaque burden short scan, frequently avoiding need for subsequent x-ray its attendant risks complications _ particularly intermediate risk group. Developments echocardiography enabled better real-time three-dimensional visualization, and, using specific contrast agents, assessment myocardial perfusion. Tissue Doppler techniques facilitated understanding mechanics-particularly useful, eg, dyssynchrony. In this review article we brief overview how work discuss future applications. We highlight strengths, limitations, modalities, when consider tests clinical practice.
