摘要: Seepage from rivers and natural channels is a serious problem in the Sacramento Valley of California. Impairment land use occurs along Sacramento, Feather, Yuba Bear Rivers as result intermittent periods high ground water or ponded surface water. When channel levels exceed adjacent elevation, moves through under confining into lands. If drainage facilities are inadequate, soil becomes saturated often ponds on surface. The damages orchards perennial annual crops, prevents working land, resulting delays prevention normal planting crops.
