摘要: The authors present a comprehensive overview of image processing and analysis work done to support research into the model flowering plant Arabidopsis thaliana. Beside plant's importance in biological research, using obtain experimental measurements it is an interesting vision problem its own right, involving segmentation sequences images objects whose shape varies between individual specimens also changes over time. While useful can be obtained by segmenting whole from background, they suggest that increased range precision made available leaf-level makes this well worth solving. A variety approaches have been tried biologists as computer researchers. This interdisciplinary area community has important contribution make. They there need for publicly datasets with ground truth annotations enable evaluation new building training data modern data-driven approaches, which are those most likely result kind fully automated systems will use biologists.
