摘要: The use of transition metal dichalcogenides, such as MoS[sub 2], for solar energy conversion in photoelectrochemical cells has been widely accepted due to its small bandgap and high chemical stability. 2] thin films ca. 390 [angstrom] on a TiO[sub 2]/Ti substrate, prepared by an intercalation-exfoliation method, have characterized electron spectroscopy analysis, Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy, scanning microscopy, X-ray fluorescence, electrochemical methods. Scanning micrograph analyses indicates the presence two surfaces, one composed basal planes another axial planes. Cyclic voltammetry ferrocene, tetracyanoquinodimethane, chloranil, tetramethylphenylenediamine, decamethylferrocene with film electrodes without illuminations showed linear diffusion cyclic voltammetric waves. This is metallic-like behavior which density plane son electrode surface. Under illumination, waves redox systems had sigmoidal shape, characteristic semiconducting surfaces. electrode, compared that ultra microelectrode (UME) array. In this case UME site, it within (i.e., surfaces).
