摘要: Algicidal bacteria offer a promising tool for the prevention of red tides, because they are able to play key role in terminating blooms coastal areas. This study details detection vast numbers algicidal attached surface seaweeds such as Ulv sp. and Gelidium (of order 106 cells g−1 wet weight some cases). were isolated from Ulva coast Osaka Bay April September 1999, their properties assessed using prey microalgae Karenia mikimotoi, Heterosigma akashiwo, Fibrocapsa japonica Chattonella antiqua. K. mikimotoi was tide species most susceptible seaweeds.
