摘要: Publisher Summary Machine translation (MT) has become a multimillion dollar affair. Fully automatic, high quality is not reasonable goal, even for scientific texts. This chapter surveys the situations where involved to be of quality. A human translator, in order arrive at his/her output, obliged make intelligent use extra linguistic knowledge that sometimes considerable breadth and depth. Reasonable goals are either fully low or partly translation. Full automation process incompatible with The two possible directions compromise could struck sacrificing reducing self-sufficiency machine output. There many less than output satisfactory.
