摘要: Transient properties of Eu/sup 3 +/ emitting levels /sup 5/D/sub 2/, 1/, and 0/ in an yttrium oxysulfide matrix have been studied at various activator concentrations under different excitation modes. was excited either to the charge-transfer state (CTS) by UV light or selectively 1/ laser. At low concentrations, results can be explained a step process, 2/ ..-->.. 0/; values calculated from rate equations are agreement with measured ones. The decrease lifetimes increasing concentration cross-relaxation process between 1 -/ ions. lifetime level decreases linearly when CTS cathode rays; selective excitation, is constant. quenching seems more complex than energy transfer sink possibly connected presence ions into CTS, caused electronic structure ofmore » (YO)/sub 2/S.
