摘要: To categorize the different patterns of connecting rod based on extent to which product is remanufacturable very challenging because existence various models and wide tolerances. Sometimes it cannot be done due improper pattern recognition system. Mahalanobis-Taguchi System (MTS) a diagnostic method employing Mahalanobis Distance (MD) for recognizing in multivariate data. The aim this work apply T method-3, sub-method MTS, big-end diameter distinguish between two distinct ranges within remanufacturability process spectrum. Furthermore, also categorizes their MD from unit space with graphical illustration. case study performed an automotive industry as well contract remanufacturing environment Malaysia. outcome expected enhancement robustness system applicable company under study. It that will experience time energy savings improved quality. resulting systematic analysis enable fast decision-making. Finally, invoke among researchers sense seriousness approach towards studies involving upgrading bring Malaysias capability par other developed countries.
