Contextual reliability discounting in welding process diagnostic based on DSmT

摘要: The monitoring and diagnosing of the welding process is an important task in assuring quality welded joints. Observation such a dynamic often performed by measuring various signals different modality. main problem how to use several possible simultaneously. Many techniques that can deal with this kind were elaborated introduced practical application. One these decision fusion, group methods based on belief function theories: Dempster-Shafer Dezert-Smarandache DSmT. In paper, extended fusion scheme for assessment condition, contextual discounting evidence sources reliability DSmT framework, presented. Discounting operation was used distinguish objective ability each source, give correct condition. To validate method, series joints representing conditions result joint made. On basis research, it proven leads increase condition recognition accuracy.
