摘要: Abstract The geology of a structurally complex part the Arabian Shield which has been subjected to four successive phases deformation over considerable period time, extended by Landsat image analysis. lithologies are Proterozoic metavolcanics, metasediments, gneisses and granites. Their macroscopic structures, identified on ground traditional geological mapping methods, have extrapolated hence new information about regional tectonics obtained. Thus use multispectral satellite sensor data proved be an excellent tool for scale in crystalline basement terrains.
