摘要: Quenching of Ru(bpy)32+ electrochemiluminescence (ECL) by Cl−, Br−, and I− ions was studied as a function halide concentration in bipolar electrochemical cell. All the halides investigated showed similar qualitative behavior: above critical concentration, ECL intensity found to decrease linearly ion increased, due dynamic quenching ECL. Stern-Volmer slopes (KSV) 0.111±0.003, 4.2±0.3, 6.2±0.3 mM−1 were measured for Br− I−, respectively. The magnitude KSV correlates with oxidation potential, consistent an electron transfer mechanism. Using platform described herein, aqueous, halide-containing solutions could be quantified rapidly using sequential standard addition method. lower detection limit is determined complex mechanism involving competitive electrooxidation co-reactants, well passivation surface electrode, 0.20±0.01, 0.08±0.01 10±1 mM, respectively, Cl−. performance assay comparable previously published fluorescence methods determination ions, while being much simpler less expensive implement.
