摘要: Abstract The individual receptor systems of the somatosensory system include muscle receptors, joint receptors and mechanoreceptors. This study was intended to investigate how standing on foam surfaces would change multiple biomechanical variables associated with functions each these in foot. Mechanical inputs including changes plantar pressures, ankle rotation velocity, as well postural responses from gastrocnemius tibialis anterior muscles, were measured during an abrupt toes-up movement supporting base. These measurements compared for three different surface conditions (i.e. hard surface, 1″, 2″ foams, respectively). A group 15 healthy, young male subjects participated study. results showed that (or soft surface) affect both cutaneous mechanoreceptors foot, but not early phase platform movement. Furthermore, medium long latency leg muscles appeared be delayed significantly when foam, while short response unchanged.
