摘要: Abstract 1. The metabolic response to hypoxia at moderate O 2 demand was measured in seven highland and fifteen lowland species races of small mammals. 2. critical ambient p for reducing uptake lower the group (110 vs 122 torr). 3. Below this further reduction also (0·49 0·75%/torr). 4. expansivity 755 torr larger three tested than four ones (4·0 2· met), representing a normoxic maximums 36 54 per cent. 5. In normoxia respiratory frequency both followed function W −0·21 . hypoxic increase 68 forms (35 81 cent).
