Mothers' experiences of pregnancy, labour and childbirth: a qualitative study in Northern Greece.

摘要: This qualitative study aims at describing the mothers' most positive and negative experiences during pregnancy, labour childbirth, identifying aspects of pregnancy monitoring obstetric care that should be developed urgently in future. The sample consisted 607 mothers. data were analyzed using content analysis. Mothers who preferred vaginal delivery believe they do not interfere with nature and, consequently, their convalescence is easier faster. Those selected Caesarean section stress feel much safer because whole process well organized controlled. are closely related interaction health-care professionals. Psychological support, good education preparation courses some factors could contribute to improvement maternal services. basis prenatal, intrapartum postnatal influenced by women's childbirth.
