H2O2‐ and pH‐sensitive CdTe quantum dots as fluorescence probes for the detection of glucose

摘要: A novel fluorescence assay system for glucose was developed with thioglycollic acid (TGA)-capped CdTe quantum dots (QDs) as probes. The luminescence yield of the TGA-capped QDs highly sensitive to H2O2 and pH. In presence oxidase, is oxidized yield, gluconic H2O2. H+ (dissociated from acid) intensively quenched QDs. experimental results showed that proportional concentration within range 0.01–5.0 mm under optimized conditions. Compared most existing methods, this newly possesses many advantages, including simplicity, low cost, high flexibility, good sensitivity. Furthermore, no complicated chemical modification enzyme immobilization needed in system. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
