摘要: This paper examines the promotion of sustainable development in European Union. It begins by looking at progress made to date, then explores current priorities, particular relation meeting international environmental obligations. Such obligations are playing an increasing role shaping Union policy. However, tensions about Union, combined with implementation difficulties member state level, threaten undermine credibility as actor. The also challenges facing within context eastern enlargement. In this case, account has be taken expansive physical scale and ecological diversity territories after We ask whether enlargement is good for environment involvement management transition Europe can contribute development.
