摘要: Primary melanomas may arise in precursor nevi, and evolve through two stages, the rapid growth phase (RGP) vertical (VGP). The RGP be situ or microinvasive but is nontumorigenic, whereas VGP tumorigenic and/or mitogenic. prognosis excellent regardless of thickness other variables, depends on multiple attributes, including ulceration, which are major variables used currently standard American Joint Committee Cancer prognostic model staging system for melanoma. In addition, mitotic rate presence lymphocytic infiltrates within powerful predictors survival. thin (i.e., good prognosis) melanomas, three simple variables—the any dermal mitoses, absence tumorigenicity, patient gender—can divide patients into groups at very low quite high risk metastatic disease. These clinical findings based tumor progression can to generate biological hypotheses suitable testing basic science laboratories trials.
