摘要: This work demonstrates the effect of directional mechanical confinement on electrical energy storage density in 68Pb(Mn1/3Nb2/3)O3-32PbTiO3 (PMN-32PT) single crystals. The crystal is analyzed under varying compressive pre-stresses and temperatures. Polarization versus electric field hysteresis loops are used to predict density. A peak 52 kJ.m−3 obtained for an applied stress 2 MPa (20°C), which increases 80 28 MPa. While a maximum 147 achieved 28 MPa at 80°C. application can thus improve by significant 53%.
