摘要: The flow- and diffusion-distributed structures (FDS) the differential-flow instability (DIFI) are mechanisms that give rise to static traveling waves in reactive flows with general, species-dependent transport terms. Here we consider a general framework which supports simultaneous existence of FDS DIFI patterns. We study necessary conditions for each compare them order derive their connection. interaction between patterns gives interesting wave behavior including stationary, upstream, downstream as well an regime where stationary coexist.
