摘要: Abstract Community concordance within aquatic biota could provide useful information for improving the methods used in bioassessment and biodiversity conservation management. The main goal of study was to investigate mechanism community between macroinvertebrates fish a single river basin (South Morava Basin, Serbia). In order achieve this, Self organizing map (SOM) ordinated classified sampling sites based on structures five different taxa groups (macroinveretbrates (MIB), (FSH), Chironomidae (CHI), Macroinvertebrates without (MWC) Ephemeroptera Plecoptera Trichioptera group (EPT)). SOM also revealed 6 environmental gradients along tested that significantly changed their structures. Using results analysis as input, Mantel test quantified highest FSH MIB (r = 0.42) followed by CHI (r = 0.29). lowest recorded EPT (r = 0.14). indicator species (IndVal) 39 be responsible patterns obtained. Geo-SOM visualized spatial distribution IndVal taxa, revealing generators concordance. strength depends variability data biota. Thus, having an appropriate statistical design well high taxonomic resolution, some factors which increase set, present unbiased way.
