摘要: The regulatory role of phosphorylation adrenal proteins as it relates to the mechanism action adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) has been studied. ACTH, cyclic AMP, or GMP were added rat quarters which had preincubated with [32P]phosphate. 32P-labeled in subcellular fractions identified after separation by sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and autoradiography. addition ACTH consistently resulted dephosphorylation specific produced characteristic patterns (autoradiographs) for each fraction very different from control. changes preceded corticosterone production. Also, degree these followed a dose-response relationship correlated well When cAMP was quarters, resulting identical those induced ACTH. cGMP similar control incubations. stimulated production 6-fold when compared cGMP-treated tissue.
