摘要: Bicondylar intraarticular fractures of the distal humerus, because their rarity and often associated significant displacement, comminution, osteopenia, present orthopedist with a difficult injury to reliably treat successfully. As any displaced fracture, principles anatomic restoration articular surface, stable fixation, early motion are optimal treatment goals. The average excellent-to-good results surgical for Type C ("T" or "Y" bicondylar fractures) 75% (range, 65-100%). Complications include heterotopic ossification (4%), infection ulnar nerve palsy (7%), failure fixation (5%), non-union (2%).
