摘要: Bicondylar intraarticular fractures of the distal humerus, because their rarity and often associated significant displacement, comminution, osteopenia, present orthopedist with a difficult injury to reliably treat successfully. As any displaced fracture, principles anatomic restoration articular surface, stable fixation, early motion are optimal treatment goals. To obtain reproducible results, an established protocol is required described in detail here. The average excellent-to-good results surgical for Type C ("T" or "Y" bicondylar fractures) 75% (range, 65-100%). Complications include heterotopic ossification (4%), infection ulnar nerve palsy (7%), failure fixation (5%), non-union (2%).
