摘要: In vitro incubations of manure-amended soil are frequently used to evaluate manure N and C availability. Manures typically frozen, refrigerated, or dried prior analysis. An experiment was designed the effects these storage methods on mineralization characteristics. Two dairy slurries were collected seven treatments, fresh, frozen (4 5 wk), refrigerated (1 d, 1 wk, 4 freeze-dried oven-dried, compared. Rates extents determined by aerobic incubation slurry-amended at 25°C. Slurry added a rate equivalent 265 kg ha -1 incorporated into upper 15 cm soil. The appearance NH + NO 3 - production CO 2 monitored during 16 wk. Refrigeration freezing had no effect slurry content; however, freeze drying oven resulted in losses 30% more. -C followed first-order kinetics 9 wk for all treatments with approximately 18 26% mineralized. Net organic minimal not affected refrigerating slurries. With oven-dried slurries, there greater immobilization when compared fresh manure. Results indicate that unsuitable storage, but characteristics refrigeration freezing.
