摘要: The muscles of mastication the polar bear (Ursus maritimus) and those brown (U. arctos) were examined by anatomical approach. In addition, examination skull was carried out in bear, giant panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca). rostro-ventral part superficial layer M. masseter possessed abundant fleshy portion folded rostral lateral directions like an accordion. Moreover, rostro-medial area became hollow nuchal direction when mouth closed. temporalis covered up anterior border coronoid process mandible occupied almost entire cranial surface. pterygoideus medialis inserted on ventral temporal bone more widely than that bear. As results our measurements mandible, effect leverage smallest three species. flat, space between zygomatic arch narrowest. It is suggested adapted to flat feature for supplementing functions.
