摘要: Abstract The synthesis and gas transport properties of aromatic polyisophthalamides (PIPAs) based on isophthaloyl chloride (IPC) derivatives bearing a pendent phenyl group hexafluoroisopropylidene (6F) linkage in the main chain are reported. these polymers compared with similar PIPAs containing sulfonyl (SO2) rather than 6F chain. Polymers at five position more permeable those only hydrogen atom this position, although increases permeability generally accompanied by decreases selectivity. In SO2-bearing polymer, addition hinders packing PIPAs. Consequently, coefficients increase upon SO2-containing 6F-containing effect amide reversal polymer linkages backbone was minimal. All considered study were to nitrogen methane, some nitrogen/methane selectivities two.
