摘要: Abstract The purpose of this article is to review affective outcomes end-of-life discussions on patients and characteristics discussions. A systematic was conducted. Published interventions, prospective studies, surveys were retrieved from MEDLINE, PubMed, PsychINFO, CancerLit, CINAHL, Cochrane Database Systematic Reviews January 1980 December 2002, the reference lists articles. Retrieved articles suggested that contributed increase patient satisfaction perceived benefits with communication. Most occurred relatively healthy elderly in outpatient setting 5 15 minute-long conversations initiated by physicians. scope limited completion an advance directive life-sustaining treatment options. No evidence negative found; however, very little research has been effect should be evaluated basis patients' perspectives using standardized measures.
