摘要: The records of 300 consecutive Chinese patients with a dentofacial deformity were reviewed to determine the spectrum and characteristics deformities presenting university joint orthognathic clinic. Twenty-six percent had cleft lip palate maxillary hypoplasia; within this group, 26% double jaw 5% nasomaxillary hypoplasia. Of noncleft 47% Class III facial types, which 59% due mandibular hyperplasia. asymmetry accounted for 21%, long face 18%, bimaxillary protrusion 14%, II types 11%, short 4%. Overall, there was high incidence two-jaw deformity, suggesting that severity may be major factor in decision by seek treatment. Findings from study are thought generally applicable overseas Chinese.
