摘要: Patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS) is one of the most common diagnoses among young, physically active populations, affecting 1 in 4 athletes with more than 70 % being between 16 and 25 years old [1–4]. Many researchers have tried to explain causal relationships for this ailment. The general consensus that etiology patellofemoral remains enigmatic multifactorial may include intrinsic (skeletal alignment, soft tissue imbalance, biomechanical influences) extrinsic (environment, equipment) risk factors [2, 5, 6].
