摘要: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small non-coding RNAs that mediate gene expression at the post-transcriptional level by degrading or repressing target messenger (mRNA). They about 22 nucleotides in length and regulate mRNA translation base pairing to partially complementary sites, predominantly 3' untranslated region (3' UTR) of mRNA. In this review, we discuss miRNA biogenesis function, together with its possible involvement oral cancer. Despite great importance normal cell development diseases, a number studies have attempted investigate Overexpression oncogenic may reduce protein products tumor-suppressor genes. On other hand, loss cause elevated levels protein. One both these alterations could represent new targets for cancer diagnosis treatment future. Many researchers focused on genetic epigenetic squamous carcinoma cells. The emergence knowledge, potential interactive action such alterations, therefore creates understanding transformation.
