摘要: Property valuation is a core competence of estate management profession, the teaching which commences in second session most Nigeria’s tertiary institutions and run through remaining sessions programme duration. This study delves into student’s perception and learning fundamentals property which vital to undertaking diverse exercise. Data for was derived from both primary secondary sources. Questionnaires were administered final year students Estate Management three different universities the Southwest Nigeria, while information journals, textbooks and reports. Basic statistical tools such 5-Point Likert scale, mean score analysis relative importance index were engaged analysis. Results presented tables then discussed. The showed amongst others that some aspects are not satisfactorily taught still find it difficult comprehend know when apply tables. The concludes by recommending centered active learning approach bid improve on teaching. further recommends combination of teaching practices as discourse, visual representations variety social interaction. Effective monitoring feedback mechanism would also go long way to improve situation.
