摘要: Coffee is an important beverage crop in the world and has a significant contribution to Kenya’s economy. Here, we analyzed genome-wide distribution of microsatellites Coffea canephora genome. A total 159,041 SSRs were identified, with overall density 308 per Mb. Tetra-nucleotide repeats are most abundant, accounting for 32 % SSRs. AT-rich motifs dominant across all SSR repeat units, while GC-rich generally rare. set 100 was selected amplify 96 coffee accessions, including 10 wild accessions collected from Mt. Marsabit (Kenya). Of these SSRs, 33 % generated clear polymorphic bands among tested average 3.9 alleles locus. Wild species showed close genetic similarity cultivated Kenya, suggesting that played role domestication Kenya. Significantly low pairwise divergence observed between relatively narrow level basis germplasm In addition, Kenya show great those other countries. Our results not only provide molecular tools studies but also helpful conservation breeding programs
