摘要: Background: Mental and emotional self-help apps have emerged as potential mental illness prevention treatment tools. The health behavior theory mechanisms by which these influence health–related change not been thoroughly examined. Objective: objective of this study was to examine the association between theoretical use whether such is associated with behaviors. Methods: This utilized a cross-sectional survey 150 users or in past 6 months. Survey questions included theory-based items, app engagement likeability items. Stata version 14 used calculate all statistics. Descriptive statistics were calculated for each demographic, theory, engagement, variables. Multiple regression analysis identify factors reported changes separately actual after controlling potentially confounding Results: Participants that increased their motivation, desire set goals, confidence, control, intentions be mentally emotionally healthy. Engagement (P<.001) positively whereas perceived (P<.001), (P=.004), frequency (P=.01), income (P=.049). Conclusions: increase perceptions, beliefs, attitudes surrounding considerably behavior. There positive level impact on Future efforts should consider value impacting key constructs when designing apps.
