摘要: What should be the quasinormal modes associated with a space-time that contains naked singularity instead of black hole? In present work we address this problem by studying scattering scalar fields on curved background described Reissner-Nordstr\"om $|q|gm$. We show there is qualitative difference between cases $1l{q}^{2}/{m}^{2}\ensuremath{\lesssim}9/8$ and ${q}^{2}/{m}^{2}\ensuremath{\gtrsim}9/8$. discuss necessary conditions for well-posedness results low damped in $l$ large limit. also consider asymptotically highly modes. strong evidence such are absent case singularity, corroborating recent conjectures relating them to classical quantum properties horizons.
