摘要: In this study, the three-dimensional steady-state non-transferred plasma arc was investigated using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) with user defined functions (UDFs). A two-equation current density profile developed to simulate complex flow inside torch. The effect of deviation distance (distance between cathode tip center and center) on features systematically for first time. It is found that temperature velocity column reduce as increases, but near arc-root attachment shows an increasing trend. Besides, it also length decreases distance.
