摘要: Abstract The influence of water loading in the plasma on signals ions has been studied using an inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometer with a sample introduction system consisting concentric nebulizer, spray chamber and desolvator (i.e. heater condenser). amount vapor introduced into was changed by changing cooling temperature condenser. ratios Ba2+/Ba+, BaO+/Ba+ ArO+/Co+ decreased decreasing vapor. Spectroscopic interferences arising from rare earth oxide hydroxide were lowered approximately one order magnitude condenser cooled to 0°C, compared those obtained conventional introduction. Rare element impurities, such as Tm Lu suffering interference GdOH+, Gd2O3, determined desolvator. Ion kinetic energies are also given without desolvation.
