摘要: Currently, there is an explosion of knowledge in basic genetic science. For example, the human genome project involves a major international collaborative effort to map and sequence entire genome. Much this progress has been propelled by advances molecular genetics directly applicable better understanding pathogenesis disease improvement clinical diagnosis treatment. Screening programs for chromosomal aberrations, Y-chromosome microdeletions, mutations cystic fibrosis gene subsequent counseling prenatal preimplantation are some practical applications modern science fertility clinic. At same time, increasing awareness role determinants spermatogenesis male infertility. More more so-called idiopathic infertility cases with disturbed appear be origin (Skakkebaek et al, 1994; Meschede 1995). Until recently, chance achieving pregnancy was low severe andrological This changed dramatically advent intracytoplasmatic sperm injection (ICSI). To date, rates up 35% per cycle have achieved ICSI (Van Steirteghem 1993). Since circumvents natural-selection mechanisms, possible transmission defects offspring concern led rapid development its application field reproduction (Bhasin 1994). In review, we focus on current factors that play fertility, how implemented into practice.
