摘要: Field tests were carried out on two lowland rivers in Poland, namely Narew and Wilga, both being right tributaries of the Vistula River, order to compare results flow velocity discharge measurements. Both measurements completed with use an acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP RiverSurveyor S5) manufactured by SonTek electromagnetic open channel meter (model 801) Valeport. is one Europe’s few anastomosing vegetated rivers. The field done central part National Park. By contrast, Wilga mostly a sandy meandering river, regulated that river. In cases, each cross-section made using methods. chapter focuses potential errors differences resulting from: (1) existence vegetation river bottom; (2) influence obstacles such as islands or large fluvial dunes above measuring cross-section; (3) quantity profiles execution time for method meter. For latter simple but accurate procedure, which also briefly presented chapter, was applied obtain discharge. It shown measured values are from 12 35 %, depending measurement, nature conditions. findings this study may be suitable tutorial material education hydrology, civil engineering environmental hydraulics.
