Variation in resistance to different winter stress factors within a full-sib family of perennial ryegrass

摘要: Wintering ability in the field and resistance to different winter-stress factors under controlled environmental conditions were studied a full-sib family of perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.). Significant variation tolerance freezing ice encasement, pink snow mould (Microdochium nivale) also winter survival spring growth found between genotypes. No strong correlations resistances stress factors. These results indicate that is by separate genes ryegrass. A low but significant positive correlation was plants after first both M. nivale measured environments. Cold hardening seemed influence differently genotypes, since no distinct or unhardened hardened plants. Tolerance most positively correlated with plant size.
