摘要: ABSTRACTAl metal matrix composites reinforced with high volume fraction of Fe50.1Co35.1Nb7.7B4.3Si2.8 glassy particles were fabricated by mechanical milling followed hot pressing. Elemental Al powders blended 60 vol.% mechanically milled for 1, 5, 10, 15, and 20 h, respectively. Selected samples sintered uniaxial pressing under Ar atmosphere. The changes in the microstructure along their properties investigated. Structural microstructural characterization microhardness compression test results bulk composite material is reported. use Fe-based as reinforcement led to significant hardening while leading a remarkable combination strength plasticity.
