Preparation and electrochemical performances of cubic shape Cu2O as anode material for lithium ion batteries

摘要: Abstract Cubic and star-shaped crystalline Cu 2 O particles were synthesized by reducing the copper citrate complex solution with glucose. The microstructure morphology of characterized means X-ray diffraction (XRD) scanning electron microscopy (SEM). electrochemical properties as anode materials for lithium ion batteries measured galvanostatic charge–discharge tests. as-synthesized 1–2 μm narrow distribution shape had an effect on properties. cubic delivered a higher reversible discharge capacity (390 mAh g −1 ) than O, also exhibited good cyclability. presented poor cyclability due to pulverization deterioration after cycling, but was stable even 50 cycles.
