摘要: Resume En dix ans, la tomographie par emission de positons (TEP) au 18F-fluor-deoxy-glucose (FDG) a pris une place incontournable dans prise en charge des pathologies malignes du poumon, plevre et mediastin. De nombreuses publications grande envergure, meta-analyses recommandations societes savantes europeennes, nord-americaines japonaises ont bien precise ses indications son impact medicoeconomique. Elle constitue base bilans diagnostiques d’extension ces cancers radiotherapie, d’autant plus depuis l’apparition cameras hybrides associant les signaux TEP TDM. Si aujourd’hui sa valeur predictive negative est le point fort, l’apport nouveaux marqueurs devrait permettre d’ameliorer sensibilite diagnostique specificite preciser l’appreciation l’evaluation reponse aux differentes therapeutiques.
