摘要: Controlling the solar torque imposed on a spacecraft (10) in flight by providing film (52) with variable absorptive, reflective, emissive and/or transmissive properties sun side of thermal shield (50) (10). As orientation changes relative to line, change cause shield's center pressure change, thus aligning it mass (24) as viewed from direction line. In accordance another embodiment invention, (100) is provided plurality control vanes (110-116) that have transmissive, reflective and property maintain stably pointed towards sun.
