摘要: Assessing the effectiveness of Non-Pharmaceutical Interventions (NPIs) to mitigate spread SARS-CoV-2 is critical inform future preparedness response plans. Here we quantify impact 6,068 hierarchically coded NPIs implemented in 79 territories on effective reproduction number, Rt, COVID-19. We propose a novel modelling approach that combines four computational techniques merging for first time statistical, inference and artificial intelligence tools. validate our findings with two external datasets 48,000 additional from 226 countries. Our results indicate suitable combination necessary curb virus. Less intrusive costly can be as more intrusive, drastic, ones, e.g., national lockdown. Using country-specific what-if scenarios assess how depends local context such timing their adoption, opening way forecasting interventions.
