摘要: Over the years, companies have been progressing their management strategies and transforming production systems to cope with pressing environmental challenges remain competitive, prosper meet market demands. It is no longer enough only satisfy demand. The face a new transformation on way of “doing things”, being it performance efficiency improved, or its relationship all stakeholders. Lean manufacturing eco-efficiency propose setting for progressively reducing wastes impacts. Although Production was not developed directly tackle sustainability issues, principles practices convey benefits that could be put, unquestionably, under umbrella Green resulting in synergies known as Lean-Green link. This chapter aims present Business Overall Performance Sustainability Effectiveness (BOPSE) indicator, which intended measure companies’ compliance. BOPSE indicator an integrated metric operational conformity. exploits operationalized through aggregates combines features. weaves number spread over three dimensions, those encompassed by Equipment (OEE) indicator. Therefore, intends assess effectiveness businesses grounded compliance, aiming at identifying both specific limitations broader opportunities global improvement companies. Hence, drives some 17 sustainable development goals, namely 8th—“Decent work economic growth”, 12th—“Responsible consumption production” goals.
