摘要: The recent deaths of two professional boxers from injuries sustained in boxing bouts stimulated a survey similar fatalities this sport and other athletic competitions. purpose the was to determine type frequency correlate them with particular kind activity. Accordingly, these may best be considered under following classifications: (1) sports characterized by body contact—football, wrestling, boxing, hockey basketball; (2) which missiles are thrown hand, driven bat or club shot weapons —baseball, cricket, golf, archery; 1 (3) falls miscellaneous accidents occur—horse racing, polo, handball, basketball, track field events; (4) aquatic competition; 2 (5) sudden unexpected natural existing acute, subacute chronic disease precipitated excitement, overexertion, exhaustion, combination factors.
