摘要: Surface sediment in eutrophic lakes is both a destination and habitat for overwintering cyanobacteria. The resuspension recovery of viable, cyanobacteria from the surface during warm spring weather usually primary stage cyanobacterial blooms (CBs) shallow lakes. Therefore, elimination vital to control CBs. In present study, plow-tillage (PT) was introduced as an innovative technique eliminating sediments Lake Chaohu. Four depths PT (2, 5, 10, 15 cm) were tested 42-day experiment. results showed that rapid cell death first 0-7 d after accompanied by high oxygen uptake rates. viable cells deeper died more quickly at higher rate PT. A depth >10 cm effectively eliminated (with removal 82.8%) prevented their resuspension. activity also decreased eliminated. It appears dark, anoxic environment responsible cells. Although release rates nitrogen phosphorus found accompany dying decomposition days 0-7 experiment, greater decrease nutrient concentrations overlying water. conclusion, we recommend new algae sediments. However, nutrients situ CBs should be further studied.
