摘要: It is all too easy to be discouraged, indeed, outraged, by the continuing state of socio-economic inequality and fragility ‘the neighbourhood’ (our world) in a deteriorating, conflict-ridden environment.   As educators, we struggle with perceived lack educational quality, relevance, ethics policy practice. Education systems tend reflect political ideologies day, many which are socially economically divisive hostile equitable change.  crucial condemn, strongest manner, current racist, separatist, discriminatory views that permeate our social media space, affecting public attitudes.  Comparative international education theorists practitioners can play role critiquing, through lens critical postcolonial awareness, such socio-political constructions society education.  The observations made this article refer particular comparativists Oceania, region containing both large economies as Australia, small Pacific island states.  This paper sets out an argument for ‘unleashing global consciousness’ effect change, acting non-violence empathy intercultural, ethical, actionable space (Ermine, 2007; Sharma-Brymer, 2008).
