摘要: An exploratory analysis was conducted by using a qualitative of the data obtained from popular online social network platform for professionals – LinkedIn. Data in form discussion posts and comments associated with BIM education were captured BIM-specific group NVivo 10 software. To carry out analysis, coded to identify important themes emerging data. These then examined, interpreted discussed. OUTCOMES The results showed that emerged selected concentrated on recommendations how can be integrated into curriculum barriers integration. need teach as collaborative process rather just software tool highlighted, difficulty bridging educational silos identified one main barriers. CONCLUSIONS is an innovative concept help improve efficiency AEC industry. successfully integrate education, industry perceived there universities more developing requires integration across different disciplines. This represents major challenge overcome not only engineering but also other related disciplines within context.
