摘要: The development of nanotechnology opens up new ways for biomedical applications unmodified and modified diamond nanoparticles which are one the most popular nanomaterials used in biology, biotechnology, medicine, cosmetics engineering. They have been applied as diagnostic therapeutic agents because they can be targeted to localized cells causing apoptosis necrosis. problem biocompatibility nanodiamonds at higher concentrations is thus primary importance. first step modification DNPs usually introduction hydrogen groups, bind other functional groups. basic method introduce -OH groups onto Fenton reaction. aim this study was compare effect nanodiamond particles by etoposide their surface reaction on human non-small lung cancer cells. A549 were incubated with 2-100μg/ml nanopowders 0.6-24μg/ml DMEM medium. We observed a decrease viability generation reactive oxygen/ nitrogen species after incubation, estimated oxidation H2DCF-DA DAF-FM-DA. Modified detonation affected also cellular content glutathione activities main antioxidant enzymes (glutathione peroxidase, reductase, S-transferase, superoxide dismutase catalase). results TEM microscopy show changes cell morphology. These data demonstrate that induce oxidative stress target
