摘要: The kinetics of the thermal decomposition trans-1,2-dicyanocyclobutane, which yields only vinyl cyanide, have been studied in temperature range 570°-660°K using a stirred-flow reactor. reaction was found to be first order and homogeneous with rate constants represented by Arrhenius equation where θ = 2.303 RT kcal/mol. parameters are considerably higher than previously reported. On assumption biradical mechanism results consistent cyano stabilization energy ∼5 kcal/mol, good agreement recent studies related systems.
